eclipse :-)

I have just seen the movie and I absolutely love it. I think it is much better then first and second part. Good equilibrum between the 'action' and 'romance'. And the important scenes are long enouch finally :-))) i missed that especially in Twilight.

Wow.. I think it is time for playing with dolls and making some photostories... They're coming soon...

new moon tonner dolls

A few days ago Tonner Doll Company introduced new line of Twilight dolls - New Moon series. Three characters are available for preorder (shipping planned for September):

Birthday Bella (on Tyler convertible body, with small bust and new face sculpt), dressed in her 18 birthday party dress.


Distand Devotion Edward, much the same as the previous versions, with a bit different hairdo (more Rob Pattinson-like?) and the clothes Edward wore during Bellas Birthday party. I don't care much about the doll but I do want the outfit!


And the last doll is Alice - the doll I really waited for and the one that really disappointed me... the face? Is the promo that bad or don't I remember how Alice looked like in the movie? And what happened to Alice's hair....

Another bad news is that due to the license agreement the dolls are only available to Nort America. I guess they will be available on eBay soon after the release but the prices may be a bit different...

PS. My New Moon Jacob has just arrived... I adore his face, I hate his athletic body. Some more comments and photos - soon.

twilight saga news

OK, this is not about dolls :-)
It was announced some time ago, but there is just less than two weeks left for release of the new Twilight Saga book - The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. It's about the young vampire killed by the Volturi at the end of Eclipse. It's great to have another Twilight book but... I guess everyone is really waiting for the New Moon to be published... I wonder when will it happen? I really like the part published on Stephenie Meyer website and would lke to read more...

What's more? Not much than a month left to the Eclipse premiere... Should you need the specific count down - just download one of the counters like I did :-)

it's been a while...

... no time for this blog, no new twilight stuff... but I am back :-)
Good news - Tonner's Jacob Doll is on the way to me (two months earlier than the old shipping schedule announced).
Anither good news - Mattel released two more Twilight dolls - Alice (YES!!!!) and Victoria. Alice is quite 'barbie' and Vistoria seems to have the new facemold... Anyway - they both look really cool and I think they may be the first Mattel Twilight dolls I'd buy... We'll see...

three bad vamps by Robert Tonner

I still wait for the New Moon dolls by Robert Tonner, but there is still something to show form his 2009 Twilight collection...
Three bad vampires - Victoria, Laurent and James. With fabulous clothes, just as seen in the movie... I want them sooooo badly....

I am not sure about Victoria's facemold (I haven't seen too many real pictures of her), but I just adore her outfit - jersey top, dark denim jeans, faux fur jacket and the jewelery. She has Tyler body with convertible feet. LE 1000.



Victoria's mate, James has Matt O'Neal body and original head sculpt. He is wearing the costume known from the movie - leather jacket (with badges) & jeans. LE 1000



Laurent (Matt O'Neill body also) is wearing his movie costume as well - yellow jacket, white brocade vest (with 'silver' chain) and dark pants. LE1000.

Edward, Edward & Edward - OOAKs on Ebay

I did some eBay survey today nad found some more Twilight repaints, Edward dolls this time. I have decided to publish all at once, just to show how much they differ. All photos come from active eBay auctions, so you can still bid and win :-)

"Hunry" Edward, enhanced doll by *enchanted*. As the description says - changed hairdo, repainted lips, blushing added and enhanced eyes ane eyebrows. Current price is 79$. Good luck.

The next one - real Vampire. I don't like this doll as an Edward, but I think he's great just as a scary vampire, just got up from his coffin... He's hungry, even if his eyes are not dark black. The doll is repainted by Kmiro whose works can be also seen here.
The auction ends on 19 Jan, 2010, 01:56:30 GMT. Current price is 275$.



And the last one, looks as if he was really suffering, can be bought on this auction for only 249 $. The auction desctiption says nothing about the author...

I saw this photo (part of Raven Dollz' eBay auction) and fell in love :-)
I don't hink I have seen more Kirsten Stewart-like repaint recently. It resembles New Moon Bella to me.

Some more nice Twilight dolls repaints are available on eBay now. One of them is Victoria, reapinted by sashableu. I must admit that this Victoria reminds me mor about the film character tahn the defoult Tonner's faceup.

Bella & Edward by Mattel

Tonner Doll is not the only one, who made cute Twilight dolls last year. Mattel Inc. released two characters so far - Edward (with new, athletic body) and Bella (or rather "Barbie as Bella", it's pity there is no special facemold for this doll).

Another doll - Jacob - is going to be released in February. I think I'll buy all three :-)

Tonner Twilight dolls - Edward

There are three versions of Edward produced by Tonner Doll so far. First - the 'basic' Edward (LE3000), as portrayed by Robert Pattinson. He is wearing navy blue t-shirt, jeans, shoes with working laces, and grey tailored coat. Catalogue price was 139,9 $, now can be bought from TonnerDirect for 125,99$.



San Diego Comic-Con 2009 Exclusive Edward Cullen was the "hungry", dark - eyed version, limited to 200 pieces, now sold out at Tonner's, sometimes available on ebay.



The newest edition, Amazon Exclusive, is Edward wearing his prom costume - suit (with working buttons and buttonholes), and crisp Oxford shirt, sleek tie, socks, and molded dress shoes. I don't like the hairdo in this version, it's not much like Edward's...
Anyway, this doll can be bought from TonnerDirect for a discount price 89,99$ and just now - from amazon.com for 39,99$.
The original price was 139,99$.

Rosalie OOAK on eBay

Another repaint by Sashableu can be found on eBay now. It's Rosalie Hale, as portrayed by actress Nikki Reed. Rosalie is repainted Tonner 16 inch Kit doll.

Tonner Twilight dolls - Bella

The Tonner Doll Company produced two versions of Bella, both 15'' tall, with fifteen points of articulation (neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, bust line, waist, hips, knees, and ankles), dressed straight from the movie. First (LE 3000) - in embroided peasant top, trousers and jacket, the other (Tonnerdirect and Amazon exclusive) - in the prom dress and black leg cast on the right leg.

The first one is on her way to me right now - can't wait :-)

OK, I admit. I became sort of addicted. To the book, but also - suprisingly - to the Twilight movies.

I promise, I am not going to chase the news on the Twilight movie stars here ;-) As I am a doll collector - I'd rather share the issues connected with Twilight's impact on the dolly world, Twilight artwork and other stuff, I might find interesting.
