new moon tonner dolls

A few days ago Tonner Doll Company introduced new line of Twilight dolls - New Moon series. Three characters are available for preorder (shipping planned for September):

Birthday Bella (on Tyler convertible body, with small bust and new face sculpt), dressed in her 18 birthday party dress.

Distand Devotion Edward, much the same as the previous versions, with a bit different hairdo (more Rob Pattinson-like?) and the clothes Edward wore during Bellas Birthday party. I don't care much about the doll but I do want the outfit!

And the last doll is Alice - the doll I really waited for and the one that really disappointed me... the face? Is the promo that bad or don't I remember how Alice looked like in the movie? And what happened to Alice's hair....

All photos are property od TonnerDoll Company, found on TonnerDirect website.

Another bad news is that due to the license agreement the dolls are only available to Nort America. I guess they will be available on eBay soon after the release but the prices may be a bit different...

PS. My New Moon Jacob has just arrived... I adore his face, I hate his athletic body. Some more comments and photos - soon.

call me Alice ;-)

can't believe it! I have just started on... Bella's wardrobe today... some more tops would be useful... that seems to be the easy part ;-)

and a few hours later...

it's snowing again...

welcome home, Bella

I knew the face, though I'd never seen it myself before this moment. It had been foremost in every human head today. The new student, Isabella Swann. Daughter of the town's chief of police, brought to live here by some new custody situation. Bella. She'd corrected everyone who'd used her full name. (Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer)

So she is finally here :-) start of my Tonner/Twilight collection :-)

Another Bella OOAK on eBay

I saw this photo (part of Raven Dollz' eBay auction) and fell in love :-)
I don't hink I have seen more Kirsten Stewart-like repaint recently. It resembles New Moon Bella to me.
Auction link. Starting bid is 150$ only, auction ends on 12 Jan, 201004:53:48 GMT.

Bella & Edward by Mattel

Tonner Doll is not the only one, who made cute Twilight dolls last year. Mattel Inc. released two characters so far - Edward (with new, athletic body) and Bella (or rather "Barbie as Bella", it's pity there is no special facemold for this doll).

Below - Mattel's promos.

Another doll - Jacob - is going to be released in February. I think I'll buy all three :-)

Bella Swan OOAK on eBay

While searching on eBay today I have found nice OOAK Bella - repainted Tonner doll (photo on the left is taken from the auction).

The author is Sashableu who has repainted several Twilight characters, you'll find more on her website:

If you would be interested in the auction - strating bid is 259$, auction ends on 04 Jan, 21:56:37 GMT. Happy bidding :-)

Tonner Twilight dolls - Bella

The Tonner Doll Company produced two versions of Bella, both 15'' tall, with fifteen points of articulation (neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, bust line, waist, hips, knees, and ankles), dressed straight from the movie. First (LE 3000) - in embroided peasant top, trousers and jacket, the other (Tonnerdirect and Amazon exclusive) - in the prom dress and black leg cast on the right leg.

The first one is on her way to me right now - can't wait :-)
